Description: 

A popular beach resort area without the crowds, located in historic St. Augustine, oldest city in the United States. A championship tennis facility, three pools, and a complete health spa are among the amenities provided at the resort.  A short walk to the beach, this resort is known for attracting tennis enthusiasts.  Are you one of them?

During your stay you are given a membership in the St. Augustine Tennis Resort which is on-site. There are 10 clay courts, an indoor heated pool, and a small snack bar in the clubhouse where you can get draft beer or long-necks at extremely reasonable prices, sit at a table inside or on the patio and watch the tennis action. Additionally, there are 2 outdoor pools, and the sections of townhouses are clustered around these. The beach and ocean are a short walk past the tennis complex. The beach is much like that at Daytona, where you can drive your car onto the beach area, but it is much, much less crowded than the Daytona beaches.

 

 

About the unit:

This is a two bedroom, two and a half bath unit.  It will comfortably sleep 6.  Located walking distance to both the beach and Tennis Club, you will find yourself enjoying many activities right from your timeshare.

"The location is superior in that it is 10 minutes from old St. Augustine with all its charms and "first" this and that in the US historical uniqueness. Additionally, it is two hours from Orlando, one hour from Daytona beach, and one and one half hours from Cape Kennedy. The pace of life in St. Augustine is pleasantly slower than the more commercial parts of Florida. The beaches are good at the resort..."

ABOUT EXCHANGING: 

Resort is exchanged with Interval International (property ID TAS). For exchange purposes, this week trades with Interval International RCI as a Red week, the best week type possible. Timeshare owners have the option to join II for a yearly membership fee of $79 A membership in II allows you to exchange your week for another location for an exchange fee of $119 for U.S. domestic locations. BIDDING POLICY: 
  • A $300 deposit will be required within 24 hours of the end of the auction to confirm your bid.  We prefer PayPal for this purpose.  I also accept eBay Billpoint, Money Order or a Cashier's Check
  • Only bid if you plan to follow through with this transaction.  Do not bid if you do not intend to complete this transaction! 
  • This auction will end on Sunday evening.  Full payment will need to be received at the escrow agent's office by the following Friday unless other arrangements have been made.

  • All information is given to the best of our knowledge.  Buyer is responsible for verifying the facts.
  • Closing normally takes 4 to 12 weeks.  Since this week is available to use in 2002 we will need to overnight documents where appropriate, so you have the option of starting your usage sooner.  Buyer will need to send two letter sized shipments via overnight courier, Federal Express, Airborne, UPS or Post Office.

ABOUT  CLOSING:

  • Costs are $300 for closing which includes deed preparation, recording and resort notification.  

  • Winning bidder pays the winning bid amount and closing costs, plus $404.00 maintenance for 2002. 

  • Deed will be prepared and recorded for the new owner. 

  • Once recorded, a copy of the new deed will be forwarded to the resort to notify them of the official change. 

  • Any additional costs of transferring the resort or membership into the new owners name are the responsibility of the new owner.

If you are the winning bidder on this auction you must be prepared to place a $300 deposit with PayPal or by cashier's check within 24 hours.  This covers the closing costs of the unit and starts the transfer process.  The remainder of the balance for the unit is due within 7 days of the close of the auction.  

If you fail to pay the deposit within 24 hours, we reserve the right to sell the unit to another bidder.

I accept PayPal, Money Order or Cashier's Check.  Payment is handled through the law firm we use as a closing agent.  The agent is a law firm in Florida that has handled transactions like this for me before.
