Located on 1,400 wooded acres, the resort has miles of cross-country skiing, snowmobile, and snowshoe trails and sliding. Summer activities include two outdoor pools, a nine-hole golf course, two tennis courts, mountain biking, hiking, and a miniature golf course. Boating and fishing are available on Hill Lake. You may bring your own boat or rent one from the resort.

Snowmobile the beautiful Palisade, Tamarack, and Savanna Portage State Parks, and enjoy the splendor of the Scenic Hill River State Forest. Experience the famous Soo Line Trail. Access to over 1,000 miles of trails awaits you. Area trail maps are available. Explore the surrounding area in brand new snowshoes! Snowshoeing is as simple and safe as walking in the woods. Snowshoeing provides the excitement of solitary exploration or the fun of sharing a day with friends. But more than anything, it's a chance to experience the Northwoods in its purist most raw form. Strap on a pair and let them take you somewhere you've never been in a way that's more fun than you imagine!

Families, young and old, return again and again to Hill City and Quadna Mountain. Area attractions include Forest History Center, Judy Garland Museum, Mississippi Showboat, Grand Rapids and Aitkin Shopping, Antique Shops, Iron World, Itasca State Park (Headwaters of the Mississippi), Hill Annex Mine, and the Port of Duluth. With all that our area offers, it is a perfect choice for family vacations, quick get-aways, reunions, retreats, or snowmobile trips...

For couples and individuals, there is all of the above and, of course, the peace and solitude that is unmistakably "Minnesota's North Woods."  Spring, Summer and Fall offer much to do...a little something for everyone.

It is on a lake, Hill Lake, and nearby is the small town of Hill City...very picturesque. You can get groceries and gas in Hill City and go to church...and also the beach. There is a beach there as well as on the other side of Hill Lake at Quadna. You can rent motor boats, canoes and paddle boats at Quadna. Or boats without motors!  I highly recommend Quadna...would rate it an 8.

The staff was friendly... there were beautiful trails for biking and hiking...

Resort is also with Interval International - QMR is the resort code. The information on the resort may not be on the Interval International website.  You can call them at (800) 843-8843 for information.  The representative we spoke to said some very nice things about the resort, and said it rates very highly.  For exchange purposes, this week trades with Interval International as a Blue week which is the best week type you can get. Timeshare owners have the option to join II for a yearly membership fee of $79.  A membership in II allows you to exchange your week for another location for an exchange fee of $119 for U.S. domestic locations. • A $300 deposit will be required within 24 hours of the end of the auction to confirm your bid.  This $300 covers the $200 closing costs and leaves a $100 deposit on the unit.  We prefer PayPal for this purpose.  I accept PayPal, Money Order or a Cashier's Check

ABOUT  CLOSING:

• Costs are $200 for closing which includes deed preparation, recording and resort notification.  This is all done by Prodox in Vero Beach, Florida.  

• Winning bidder pays the winning bid amount and closing costs, plus any maintenance for 2002 that's already been paid. 

• Deed will be prepared and recorded for the new owner. 

• Once recorded, a copy of the new deed will be forwarded to the resort to notify them of the official change. 

• Any additional costs of transferring the resort or membership into the new owners name are the responsibility of the new owner.
