Buying On The Resale Market
Buying from a Timeshare Reseller like Timeshare Gems is an excellent step toward saving potentially thousands of dollars on your vacations.  Timeshares generally lose 50 to 100 percent of their value the minute they are bought the first time.  It's sad.  Because some of these timeshare resorts are great places.  But, there are a lot of upfront costs involved in selling a timeshare and they have to be paid by someone.  Generally that someone is the first buyer of the unit. 

Buying Direct From Timeshare Gems
Some people are surprised to learn that we do sell timeshares directly, without placing those timeshares on one of the auction sites.  Yes, we do, almost every week.  Fully half of our sales are sometimes derived from direct sales.  Fill out this form, and we can go to work looking for the best timeshare for you.  We do love the excitement of auctioning timeshares on Ebay and other sites, but we will gladly sell timeshares directly to most anyone.

Buying On Auction Sites
There are really only two auction websites for timeshares.  Each has their own special niche, and I think if you spend some time searching the auctions on both you will discover hat those niches are. 

Buying Retail
If you have to have the Penthouse Timeshare overlooking the rock strewn coast of Cupecoy Bay, and you just have to own a week at the Sapphire Beach Club, then you will have to pay retail prices for that week.  There are some timeshares that are the cream of the crop and rarely come on the resale market.  They're also those rare timeshares that hold and sometimes increase their value.  We should all own at least one of them.
