Thousands of timeshare resorts in
countless countries can be the jumping off point for many years of
fabulous vacations to come. Most anyone in the timeshare
industry spends time looking up the details of a new resort they hear
about. Someday they might travel there.
Here are some tips for researching a
new timeshare resort. We'll say that you own a two bedroom Gold
Crown week at the Sandstone Creek Club in Vail, Colorado. You
are current on your maintenance. Let's assume you're a member of
RCI.
-
Go to the
RCI Website or the
Interval
Website. If you're a member already, log in. If not
you can still perform resort searches on the site. Trading and
banking weeks is reserved for members only, as are many other
functions.
-
Click on Resort Directory on
the RCI site. Here you can search by region, country, resort
name or ID. You can search all the resorts in Florida.
-
If you're a member you can search by
week. Let's say you want to search all resorts in the Bahamas
available for the week of February 8 to 15 of 2003. You can do
so.
-
If you're a member of RCI or II you
already have an excellent resource--you're resort guide. Each
contains thousands of resorts for you to browse through. We
prefer to start with the directory and find an area and resort we
like, then go online to check out further information and
availability.
